Job Overview

The role of Commercial manager is to maximise revenue for the business, with a focus on (but not limited to) driving revenue through existing clients at the Camden locations. Additional focus will be on supporting the sales team to dive new business opportunities and supporting the operations team to ensure that standards are maintained at all Camden locations. You will be liaising with clients and third parties on a daily basis, and must be confident and proactive.

To account manage the ongoing retention of all occupiers within the Camden locations and ensure that they remain satisfied and happy with their occupation of space. To react to all expansion growth opportunities that may arise.

Responsibilities

New Business Development:

  • Securing opportunities by developing and nurturing client relationships via phone, email and in person. 
  • Manage the full sales life-cycle, from the initial enquiry, proactively follow-up on leads and opportunities, through to the closure of the deal.
  • Undertake all viewings for clients within the neighbourhood (Non-corporate only).
  • To look at existing LABS relationships/leads and source new opportunities.
  • Delivering on target objectives using the agreed standards.
  • Manage enquiries where required through the CRM system and become efficient in using the system correctly for reporting
  • Contributing to the success of the team by sharing best practice (across the business also).
  • Behaving in an ambassadorial and professional manner at all times and ensuring best communication behaviour is maintained with every prospective client 
  • Support the sales team and marketing team in driving new business opportunities across office, meeting room and event product lines (As well as exploit other LABS vertical opportunities).
  • Follow the correct process for using the database and verifying inter-company activity. 

Account Management:

  • Ensure the client experience of LABS clients is of the highest order
  • Conduct satsifcation surveys where required and report back at an SMT level.
  • Create new business opportunities where possible.
  • Ensure the retention of all LABS members
  • Idenify growth and expansion opportunities.

Other:

  • Effectively communicate availability internally to sales and marketing when a client has terminated and the space is scheduled to become available for rent.
  • Report personal figures on a weekly basis to the Sales Director so that the data can be collated for the executive team
  • Work towards a personal revenue target to ensure that company objectives and financial targets are met.
  • Develop a strong understanding of LABS USPs and the local competition.
  • Work with the operations team to ensure a smooth on-boarding process for each client.
  • Ensure that all new sales are recorded with accounts to ensure that all clients are invoiced as required.
  • Communicate availability to brokers/agents and existing clients on a weekly basis, with a view to maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Be confident in upselling products and ensuring that the option you have offered is the most suitable solution for the client.
