About the role

Founders Factory is hiring for a Community and Events Lead that can help manage and grow our existing community through a series of events. With this role, you will end up working with a range of teams and startups at Founders Factory and will get to execute on many different events throughout the year. There is also the opportunity to grow within the role and take complete ownership of and scale the european roadshows we run.

You are perfect for this role if you have a passion for startups, are sociable, results-driven, and have strong organisational skills.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Executing on a wide variety of events, including; Investor days (aimed at 200 leading investors) Smaller internal events, European sourcing trips (we want to go to 1-2 cities every quarter finding and meeting top startups)
  • Managing the event process end to end and beyond, including; finding venues, dealing with suppliers and vendors, sourcing attendees, writing and sending invitations, ordering name badges/banners etc, putting event booklets together and more
  • Track attendance, gather feedback in order to analyse and optimise the events program
  • Help to manage the CRM system to make sure all event attendees are uploaded so that we can continue to build close relationships with key influencers across sectors
  • Support the business development, investment and sourcing teams in particular whilst putting on sector specific, investor and roadshow events
  • Work with our Head of PR to execute on the monthly newsletter and other social pushes for events
  • Multilingual a plus

 

 

Requirements 

- A passion for startups and working with a community

- A hunger to learn

- Very well organised and strong attention to detail

- Problem solver and resilient (event planning will ALWAYS go wrong)

Salary: £25-35K dependent on experience
