The Brew by rent24 is looking for a superstar all-rounder with a positive attitude to join the team as a Community Manager.

Based at one of our locations in Shoreditch or the City, you'll be in a role that combines operations, customer service, communications and sales. You'll be a senior member of the community team leading on enhancing the quality of our members' experience from ensuring everything in the space works and is maintained to our high standards, to engaging with the community and increasing member happiness to facilitating collaboration between members and helping run events, and taking prospects on tours to sell memberships.

You'll have a keen eye on business performance with the monitoring of KPIs and producing regular reports. You'll also be involved with developing and implementing strategy that boosts our operational effectiveness and helps to grow the membership. No two days are ever the same. As such, you should be confident, personable, have excellent attention to detail, be super organised and have good time management.

The successful candidate will be looking for their next challenge, one where they can grow and make an impact. You'll have an agile mind, you'll not letting challenges phase you, and you'll have a logical and creative approach to solving problems. You'll be a natural at choosing the most efficient way in which to work, and you should also be comfortable with the ambiguity that comes with working in a scale-up. Skilled at verbal and written communications, you'll be at ease using your tone and choice of language to adapt to a wide range of situations whilst still showcasing our friendly and professional demeanour.

So whether it's in an invitation to a member event, showcasing the space to sell membership, emailing a notice about maintenance or dealing face-to-face with a member, you'll take care and pride in your messaging to ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered. It is a very exciting time for The Brew by rent24 as we have just expanded, and we will soon be rolling out even more new spaces across London which means there will be lots of fantastic new career opportunities for our team. Responsibilities

  • Handling the day-to-day operations of the coworking space
  • Interacting with members and ensuring their experience is of the highest quality
  • Supervising a Community Host
  • Developing and implementing procedures related to health and safety, aircon, security, cleaning, and utilities and communications infrastructure
  • Tracking building upkeep and facilities management (e.g. mechanical and electrical equipment) implementing long- and short-term improvements and maintenance
  • Use best business practice to reduce operation costs
  • Maintaining the space to the highest quality standard
  • Working with the Leadership team to develop new operational policies and workflows, improving the effectiveness of the community team and generating new ideas for membership relations and retention
  • Leading on management of the virtual office and hotdesking memberships
  • Touring prospective members around the space, selling membership, following up and closing sales
  • Outreaching to local businesses and collaborating with marketing on membership growth
  • Managing budgets, and choosing and dealing with a variety of suppliers
  • Other administrative tasks, as needed, related to operations, the amenities, and the membership
  • Planning and hosting events and activities that enhance the member experience
  • Working closely with the Accounts team for accurate invoicing and credit control Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience - preferably from a coworking, serviced office, student accommodation, hotel or other related hospitality backgrounds
  • Successful previous experience consistently hitting set Key Performance Indicators
  • Superb attention to detail with brilliant organizational skills
  • A people person who can make members feel comfortable and supported
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic & entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willingness to do a whole range of jobs
  • Interest in small business and entrepreneurialism is a plus
  • Sales experience is desirable but not essential Benefits

Salary: £26K - £32K
