The New Space Openings team bridges the gap between the development and construction of a new space to the operational occupation and handoff to the space teams. The NSO team is responsible for communicating all opening dates and timelines to HQ teams, project managing outside vendors and local contacts, procuring all supplies, setting up facility operations and training the new team on the space and its systems.


The Wing is looking for a highly organized, structured individual that both thrives and stays extremely calm in the midst of chaos. This person will lead the NSO team through national and international space openings, maintaining schedules and staying within budget, all with a positive can-do attitude and a vision to always improve.  


    • Grow NSO team into dynamic and efficient team, in collaboration with HQ and space teams, always working towards improvement and new learnings
    • Work with NSO team to develop efficiency skills, EQ and strategic thinking
    • Work closely with development, real estate, interiors and construction teams to execute the company’s strategic expansion plan
    • Lead NSO to deepen areas of opportunities, including but not limited to, market research, local connections, being the first brand presence in new market, new and unique member amenities
    • Continue to bridge the gap between construction and operations, with a flawless turnover
    • Fill the gap between Development Team and HQ and space teams. Act as conduit of information
    • Maintain and update systems of detailed checklists, timelines and budgets to be used to organize openings and hold all parties accountable
    • Manage processes
    • Develop, distribute and oversee checklists for all departments to ensure cohesive, successful openings
    • Create operations systems specific to new space
    • Send monthly updates on all upcoming new spaces to HQ
    • Monthly update in all-hands meetings – create and share deck
    • Communicate NSO updates with all HQ teams in timely manner
    • Ensure NSO team is maintaining and updating Capex and Opex budgets for all new spaces in timely manner
    • Manage and own NSO travel plans and budgets
    • Manage and own NSO Department budget
    • Oversee all supply orders
    • Act as liaison and point person for Operations team in review and recommendations for new space floor plans
    • Review plans at schematic, 40% and bid set with NSO Internal Relations Coordinator using operational learnings from past openings. Focus on operational flow and back of house layout
    • Review Millwork package at bid stage with NSO Internal Relations Coordinator to ensure that all operational needs are met within space
    • Oversee and manage move in plan for each new space, taking into account construction completion, building management, city regulations and opening timeline factors
    • Oversee HQ teams and external vendors throughout move in timeline, maximizing time and efficiencies
    • Communicate move in timeline and participating parties to HQ and Construction team
    • Work with London Task Force on international expansion strategic planning


    • Minimum 3-5 years professional work experience is required, ideally in a startup or hospitality environment
    • Strong project management skills with experience developing and executing strategy successfully while collaborating cross-functionally
    • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations
    • Solution-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail
    • Collaborative and team oriented, with a history of managing and mentoring others on a team
    • Ability to develop, execute, and communicate a long-term vision, while also balancing immediate priorities
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
    • Problem-solving attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow
    • Expertise in Google Suites
    • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. CAD a plus
    • Deep understanding of company and brand functions
    • Willingness to travel for new space openings
