r24 Holding is looking for a high-performing and results-oriented Event Sales Executive to help us maximize revenue opportunities by driving event sales leads, conceptualizing events, and managing their execution as well. The successful candidate will be taking ownership in selling and marketing our unique event venues and spaces and interacting with guests, customers and clients with the intention of generating new business as well as earning repeat business.

As an Event Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving occupancy from the event venues and spaces within the rent24 locations in Germany through effective sales, negotiation, yield management and conversion. You will respond to incoming inquiries and proactively generate prospective leads to achieve sales targets. You will also be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, managing and organizing the events in the most efficient and cost-effective way and ensuring that the event runs smoothly.

To succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter who can communicate effectively with different types of stakeholders and assertive and confident with the ability to manage a sales cycle and close deals. You will be flexible and adaptable with excellent interpersonal skills and have a passion for organizing events.


  • Provide quick and accurate responses to inquiries via phone and email as well as those from our company website, third-party partners and brokers
  • Build strong relationships with prospective, new and existing clients to fully understand their event needs
  • Match clients’ needs with our offerings, develop proposals and articulate rent24’s selling propositions
  • Arrange tours, viewings or show-arounds of the venues and follow up with prospects to close the sale
  • Conceptualize, plan and organize events from start to finish and ensure their seamless execution
  • Prepare all event documentations and coordinate with clients and other relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent quality service for pre-event, during the event and post-event
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service by adhering to the client service level agreements
  • Attend to all client issues and resolve any problems or complaints they may have turning these around with a positive close
  • Interact with clients and guests to obtain feedback on service quality and level
  • Liaise with the rest of the Sales Team to identify cross-selling opportunities on other products and services

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of B2B sales experience -- preferably from a venue sales or conference sponsorship background
  • Experience in event conceptualization, organization and management; related work experience is an added advantage
  • A go-getter who can drive the sales process from planning to closing
  • Has the creative ability to conceptualize diverse event themes
  • Experience in organizing and managing events in an efficient and methodical manner
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems effectively
  • Proven ability in creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are desired but not required
