Position: PR Intern

Reporting to: Communications Manager
Employment type: Full-time paid internship for 6 months; minimum of 5 months 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised PR intern with a passion for fashion, communications and sustainability to support and strengthen the communications team at Fashion for Good in Amsterdam. You’ll be working on a wide range of day–to–day tasks including handling press requests, content creation, coordinating media events, reaching out to influencers and ambassadors, setting up international conference calls, administrative tasks and generally support the team in our communication strategy for local and international audiences.  

To apply for this position, you must be enrolled in a relevant (marketing, communications, media or journalism) Bachelor or Masters programme.  


Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Update and maintain international media and guest lists 
  • Reporting on media results and coverage 
  • Research & pitch story angles and placement opportunities 
  • Build & maintain relationships with influencers and Fashion for Good ambassadors  
  • Support in designing PR tools, invites, press kits etc.  
  • Maintain press and content calendars 
  • Schedule, coordinate and attend various events 
  • Support in content copy and creation  
  • Fully support Fashion for Good’s communication strategy and execute it in different phases.  


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • English or Dutch as a mother tongue 
  • Ability to quickly pick up brand tone of voice  
  • An understanding of the Fashion media landscape 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically in: Office, Keynote 
  • Design/editing skills – experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or video editing is highly appreciated 
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and responsible with strong problem-solving skills 
  • Outgoing and creative, not afraid to share their opinion 
  • Capacity to work in a demanding and multicultural environment 


Relevant Bachelor or Masters degree (marketing, communications, media or journalism). Please note that all our internships require that you are enrolled in tertiary study for the duration of the internship.


Excellent English written and verbal communication is a requirement.
