Business Analyst - Real Estate / Coworking / Serviced Offices

The ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible for working with company data in various business areas.

To provide financial insights that help the decision-making processes to align capital and resource allocation to drive growth and profits.

This includes gathering and analysing data, reporting metrics, analysing methodologies, formulating and testing hypotheses, developing / suggesting / communicating operational improvments. This position will focus specifically on analysis and implementing of strategies to enhance revenue and achieve operational efficiency.

The Business Analyst should also drive fresh initiatives for financial planning and business intelligence systems and have strong technology, analytical and communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyse, develop and implement strategies related to pricing, product, offerings which contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the business.
  • Conduct detailed data and market analysis to create detailed business plans, pricing, revenue, and feasibility analysis for new locations expansions.
  • Develop models and analysis to support our decision-making regarding key revenue initiatives and marketing investments.
  • Develop and Implement strategic initiatives while working closely with the operations teams. Support the pilot and execution of product and operational savings initiatives and assist with deploying the initiatives.
  • Work closely with various teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, Development, Operations, and Finance to support the translation of strategy into specific business initiatives and develop tools to measure, evaluate and monitor the performance.
  • Conduct cross business analyses and performance monitoring to Identify inefficiencies and work with the relevant stakeholders to drive efficiency.
  • Work with the finance team to develop budgeting standards and forecasting and monitor actual vs. forecasted.
  • Liaise closely with the Technology team, including Data Engineering and Business Intelligence, to ensure consistency and comprehensiveness of data
  • Develop and monitor data quality metrics and KPI’s and ensure business data and reporting needs are met. 
  • streamlining and improving of internal and external reporting by creating Weekly and Monthly reporting on the business performance. 
  • Effectively communicate findings and provide key insights and recommendations to our leadership team

job qualifications and requirements

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHeavy emphasis on advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • 3+ years’ experience in business analytics, data science, management consulting, or comparable analytics positions using complex data sets to address business problems
  • Bachelor's degree in in Finance, Economics or Business Administration. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis combined with understanding of key performance indicators.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Proven experience in complex, multi-faced stakeholder management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Intermediate experience in MS Office Products (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word).
