    Senior Event Manager for Factory Commercial Events (M/F)

    Position: Full-Time - Start: ASAP

    Your role

    We’re looking for an experienced and passionate senior event manager who will support our commercial events team in managing and conducting innovative events which will be held at Factory. Commercial events consist of multi-day workshops, conferences, meet-ups, dinners, etc.

    You will oversee the execution of all commercial events and lead a team of young, driven event managers and staff. Furthermore, you will help position Factory as THE go-to event location in Germany.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Overall responsibility and management for planning and execution of commercial events
    • Report to Director of Commercial Events
    • Responsible for final event sales in close collaboration with Event Sales Manager, incl. proposal and contract generation
    • Processing of event request with the team, delegating task
    • Manage event data within respective software tools (e.g., Asana, VenueOps), keep track all data is correct and up-to-date
    • Oversee execution of commercial events
    • Quality check of Factory standards for events
    • Responsible for the compliance of safety and emergency procedures during the events
    • Staff responsibility, incl. capacity management of the team
    • Approve proposals and budgets created by event manager/s
    • Manage budget and team statistics, including KPIs
    • Collaborate with Sales Event Manager on building marketing material

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in event management or equivalent areas (start-up campus/project management/marketing management)
    • Good understanding of safety and health procedures during event execution
    • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
    • Professional manner towards clients at all times
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • A keen eye for detail and highly organized, observant
    • Self-starter and bring in a proactive and open mindset
    • Previous experience with hosting events is preferred
    • Team player
    • Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written
