Overall responsibility for the management of the Camden House premises and management of offices. GM will have overall responsibility for protection and maintenance of Camden House License.


Premises management

The venu manager will take the overall responsibility for ensuring that all maintenance and other such work is carried out when required, within budget and that maintenance schedules are strictly adhered to.

Supplies and Suppliers – Excluding F&B Suppliers

Meet with all suppliers/service providers on a scheduled basis, review their prices and secure best value in all transactions. Oversee all new and one off purchases with a three quote review.



The GM must ensure that

  • Contractors exceed demands of written cleaning schedule.
  • Schedule weekly meeting to identify drift or slump in performance.
  • Support the contractor to ensure they are getting every opportunity to meet demand.
  • Ensure al bar areas, Stores and kitchens are maintained to excellent hygiene standards and cleaning rotas are completed pre and post performance.




·       Work to achieve a full operations license with robust trading hours and 
        dynamic operational capacity.

·       All liaison with Camden Licensing team

·       All liaison with Camden Licensing Police

·       All liaison with local resident associations

·       All liaison with pub watch scheme

·       Full responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of Premises license.



Team Management

  • Ensure that a fair amount of work and responsibility is issued to all managers/departments.
  • Establish weekly meeting with all departments to review work and develop skills of team at your disposal.
  • Carry out yearly annual appraisals.
  • Schedule and minute weekly management meetings
  • Approve all holiday requests with HR to ensure adequate cover for company at all times.
  • Maintain management roster to ensure cover for company at all times, fairness to all staff and rotation of responsibilities to strengthen core team skill sets.
  • Develop team members to realise their full potential and extract maximum benefit for company’s investment.


General staff

  • Oversee the hiring and supervision of all, security, sound engineers, lighting engineers, data capture and volunteers.
  • Ensure that all team members understand the company values and promote those values with a professional and friendly service at all times.
  • Management of all disciplinary issues.
  • Creations of staff incentive schemes
  • Issuing of bonus schemes
  • Creation of weekly staff memo
  • Rostering of all departments in accordance to agreed budgets.
  • Creating a training scheme for all departments
  • Emergency fire evacuation training, weekly.
  • Supervision of Security team in accordance with Security code of conduct.


General Management

  • Managing the atmosphere of venue at all times
  •  Create Opening and Closing procedure and ensure strict adherence by all managers.
  • Ensure all equipment and operators coming into venue are briefed in the ways of the company and all agreements with said operators are supported by paper trail.
  • Nightly Float set up
  • Overall responsibility for nightly searching policy.
  • Ensuring smooth running of front door intake and a warm friendly welcome for all customers.
  • Supervision of all ejections from the premises.
  • Cash management- till skimming, cash reconciliation.
  • Collating all nightly reports for each shift and reports for all incidents involving security, lost property, and customer complaints. Include in all nightly reports of any potential issues that might arise the following morning.
  • Strict adherence to Camden House dispersal and street management policy
