As the fifth hire of the People department, you will manage a small team to start and be charged with the build out and oversight of: Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement & Culture, Learning and Development, Total Rewards, and Organizational Development & Planning. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Work with your team to define, develop and implement the overall People and Culture strategy for our rapidly scaling company
    • Identify and propose meaningful process and structural improvements for the People team and The Wing overall
    • Defines and own the The Wing employee experience and life cycle from talent acquisition, onboarding, development, engagement, retention, and offboarding
    • Iterate and devise scalable processes across all people and culture domains, including employee record-keeping, onboarding, hiring, benefits management, performance evaluation, offboarding, etc.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of learning and development programs across both HQ and Spaces
    • Work with your team to oversee the development of our compensation philosophy and strategy for both national and international expansion
    • Oversee the development of our performance review, promotion and overall growth philosophies within The Wing
    • Engage as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, as well as serve as a visible senior leader and space champion, internally and externally
    • Reviews The Wing's organizational design and provide ongoing direction and best practices for managing a complex, growing creative business organization
    • Build and maintain high levels of trust and business partnership with all Executive Team members
    • Ensures The Wing's compliance with all legal and business requirements related to people and employment functions
    • Develop, refine, reinforce, and embodies The Wing’s culture and values, as well as support the development of  The Wing's strategic plans
    • Works in close collaboration with internal and external counsel on decision making with respect to employment related regulatory affairs
