As VP, Commercial, you will be responsible for the financial success of all Huckletree locations, new business endeavours and new category launches, putting together precise commercial models and building the profitability strategy for each endeavour. The VP, Commercial supports Huckletree Management and is responsible for ensuring commercial rigour across the business, whilst keeping ahead of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice. 

The VP, Commercial will have an entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership skills. This person must be adaptable and process-oriented and able to manage various projects at once without sacrificing attention to detail. As VP, Commercial, you will balance responsibility for multiple locations at once, ensuring all space KPIs - both commercial and otherwise - are being achieved and maximised, from pre-launch through to maturity. 

    YOU WILL:

    • Be responsible for our global sales strategy and sales performance management
    • Identify new opportunities for commercialisation and conducting market research and analyses to create detailed business plans and strategies to support each other
    • Monitor the performance of all commercial activities using key metrics and preparing reports for senior management
    • Coordinate our Marketing and Sales teams to produce maximum results and achieve all our operational and sales targets, with our Directors of Sales and Marketing both reporting into this function
    • Prepare detailed operational cost management analysis and monitor P&L performance across locations
    • Oversee, coordinate and professionalise our operational functions at current workspaces, including establishing 'best-in-class' processes and procedures
    • Develop playbooks and help General Managers execute on commercial plans
    • Oversee and coordinate finance systems and processes with management
    • Support the brand identity, market segmentation and positioning across a series of new business environments
    • Forecast Business Trends & Insights/Information gathering

    YOU SHOULD APPLY IF:

    • You graduated from a top tier university
    • You have 8+ years work experience with 3+ years in a senior leadership role
    • You can demonstrate senior operations experience within a startup, leading tech company, management consultancy or investment bank
    • You have strong sales skills and a track record of business development success
    • You are an experienced business optimiser, making sure we get the best of each location and that everyone delivers on target
    • You pay close scrutiny to operations and excellent cost/yield management with proven impact on P&L
    • You have a track-record of hitting targets, customer excellence and hospitality
    • You can demonstrate experience in establishing and maintaining operational teams and practices from the beginning, and build high-performing and multi-functional teams
    • You have strong organisational skills including the ability to influence stakeholders to adopt new tools and processes
    • You have a strong financial acumen
    • You have experience in a high-growth business environment or startup, as a plus
