What You’ll Be Doing

The first version of our product has been developed on Drupal 8.0 (written in Symfony). You’ll need to maintain the current platform while leading the crucial transition to a more scalable and modern architecture

Take strategic decisions and lead all the company technological developments regarding the Infrastructure, Back End, Web App, Android and iOS mobile apps functionalities and features

Work with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Work hand in hand with the product manager to plan, implement, and test product improvements

Who We Are Looking For

You have at least 3 years of professional coding experience (or 1 year if you graduated in computer science or related discipline)

First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is able to get his/her hands dirty and willing to solve any problem with a positive, can-do, attitude

Previous experience in back end development and with modern databases (relational and non) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis

Has interest and/or experience in the following: object-oriented programming, REST API design, web development frameworks, testing, provisioning and deployment. More specifically, it would be great if there was a recent involvement in projects using one (or more) of Python, C++, Java, Node, Go, Ruby.

Confident using a modern version control system for code repositories such as git

Exposed to infrastructure offered in a managed fashion (AWS, GCloud)

Knowledge or experience of techniques/tool for monitoring/logging

Good communication skills
