About the Role:
As a Venue Sales Associate you will help with the day-to-day sales and operations of the venues The MezzanineOpens a New Window. in the Financial District and The AtriumOpens a New Window. in Bushwick. You will create relationships with new clients & maintain relationships with existing clients. You will collaborate with the sales & marketing teams to ensure that the venue is operating at capacity and meeting sales targets. You will also collaborate with the Community Team to offer the venue as a community resource when not booked for an outside client. You will also be in charge of managing all contracts with all vendors and clients.
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
Help create & update event space marketing material
Assist in sales process at both The Mezzanine Opens a New Window.and The AtriumOpens a New Window.
Collaborate on venue social media and marketing efforts
Assist with venue canvassing
Manage inbound leads and requests
Create, maintain and manage venue contracts
Maintain venue website
Help event space
Create and maintain event manager binder
Develop different venue packages seasonal, holiday, etc.
Assist in overseeing any temporary event staff
Handle all contact with venue clients
Actively maintain relationships with all prefered vendors
Once Lead is confirmed for booking, coordinate with accounts receivable to send out invoices and receive payments
Ensure event clients are setup and entered into the system, scheduled and satisfied with their event.
Tour the space answer questions regarding the space
Seek and collaborate with local businesses for partnership opportunities
Complete other errands and tasks around the office as needed
Experience & Requirements:
Hospitality and event planning experience highly preferred
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once, thrives in high stress situations
Personable, approachable with an always willing to help attitude
A strong sense of customer service and hospitality in a luxury environment
Self starter who has the ability to work independently as well as within a team
Capacity to produce and manage a wide variety of both one-off and recurring events
Detail-oriented, strong multi-tasker
Proven project management skills
Willing to learn new systems and technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree
