About Business Innovation

The core area of business innovation @ Beta-i is to make sense of clients’ business challenges and giving shape to solutions: from ethnographic research to prototyping development (internally or with startups), from system thinking and strategy to recommendations for business models.

What will you do?

Well, you must comprehend client idiosyncrasies and anticipate their challenges or resistance to doing things differently. You must also not be shy about providing your inputs or applying your relevant experiences. And you’ll…..

Own business innovation projects, scale their reach and strengthen its’ brand, constantly striving to make it better;

Do some business development and strategic partnership building with clients;

Continuously review projects/products' positioning and think of new ways of making them competitive;

Navigate corporate clients’ structures to get the job done, promoting a lean culture and the value of fast developments;

Interact productively with clients and the team at strategic and operational levels;

Inspire and manage a high-performance team of professionals and interns;

Manage the development and/or selection of prototyping solutions;

Organize and facilitate sessions and the daily operations of projects;

Manage the preparation and operations for milestones events: and

Facilitate and lead workshops and ideation sessions with clients.

What should you bring with you?

The perfect candidate for this role is someone who has been leading and developing business innovation projects in a company or as a partner / supplier, related to service design and digital transformation business models for at least 3 years.

Plus you’re:

equally adept at strategy and execution with a drive for quick results and a vision to align long term strategies iteratively to market fit and users’ adaptability;

experienced and interested in thinking in perspective, connecting dots from behaviour, UX and future scenarios to shape and develop business in low or hi-fi solutions;

extroverted and like to explain things;

fluent in English & Portuguese;

an independent thinker and also rock as a collaborator;

super smart with excellent analytical, communication, people management, critical thinking, problem solving and leadership skills;

curious and able to learn the details of a wide range of industries;

enthusiastic about working in a multicultural environment; and

a little - or a lot- silly!
