Reporting to the General Manager, you will have excellent customer service skills, enjoy meeting new people, develop great relationships and have the ability to manage client expectations whilst prioritising your day efficiently. You will also have great attention to detail and your initiative under stressful situations tends to turn tricky situations into a positive light.
What you’ll be doing
Front of House. You’ll be the member’s main point of contact from the moment they move in and throughout their business growth journey with Techspace. You’ll strike the perfect balance between being accessible and proactive yet discreet.
Onboarding. First impressions are key. You will be responsible for executing the onboarding process for Berlin member companies, coordinating various teams to ensure onboarding is completed and results in high satisfaction for the members.
Member growth. The community team will be responsible for maintaining good relationships with members in order to accommodate their growth.
Member-to-member introductions. When members require introductions to each other or to players in the tech scale-up ecosystem, you’ll know about it and you’ll have the contacts to make the introduction directly or the means to make it happen.
Member-to-partner introductions. Working closely with the Marketing team, the Community team will use their insight to recommend appropriate scaleup partners.
Local Area Guide. Creating connections with local coffee shops and independent haunts, your team will be the knowledge-base we all tap into to seek out the best local spots. This guide will also be documented for all local spots and fed into the members during onboarding.
Events. You’ll be responsible for organising events for our members to connect with each other. You’ll also be facilitating events organised by other companies using the event space

Company culture. We take the business seriously but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We collaborate, hack, blog, network with the tech scaleup sector and socialise with our members, and each other!
Competitive salary and package, flexible working hours, a shiny Mac to call your own and regular team activities to get involved in.
Inspiring workspace. You’ll be based at the heart of our brand newest building in Kreuzberg, Berlin. The old industrial building has been converted into a charming high ceiling office space with natural light, personality and creativity, and a private courtyard and balcony
