About department and role

The Finance team stands behind the role of directing financial relationships with partners, ensuring the company’s sustainable growth, and supervising costs and resources. They point and lead future directions, each area’s strategy, and all the imaginable pursuable KPIs: they really couldn’t be more vital and trustworthy.

We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.

The goal is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.

What you will do

Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action;

Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take;

Maintain the financial health of the organization;

Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans;

Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances;

Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;

Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals, objectives, and KPIs, and design a framework for these to be met;

Manage the preparation of the company’s budget;

Assure and support legal, accounting, and auditing functions in conjunction with various third parties;

Direct financial relationships with external partners (ex: banks) and suppliers;

Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken;

Coordinate external team of Accountants and assure all relevant information and documentation;

Oversee invoicing and billing processes;

Support to Beta-i group financial planning and reports;

Manage a team, providing guidance and mentorship to employees within the department.

Who you are

Proven experience as a Financial Manager;

Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst;

Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns;

Proficient user of finance software (ex: PHC);

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills;

Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used;

A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles;

Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations;

BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;

Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.

What we offer

Beta-i fosters a work culture with great flexibility in terms of working hours and the ability to work remotely. We are a truly international and integrated team. We are currently working fully remotely and starting to plan some in-person gatherings, as the pandemic allows. We want to foster an environment of a healthy work-life balance, and so Fridays’ afternoons are off.
