Overview

Beta-i is on the hunt for a Financial Controller (FC) to join our Finance team. The FC will delve into Beta-i's finances and administer, monitor, design, implement and refine systems to guarantee the financial health of the company.

Day-to-Day:

Work with the team to map current processes and identify optimizations

Direct and conduct company wide financial, budgeting, planning and controlling

Analyze documents resulting from the business relations of the company, namely: control invoices, payments and receipts

Support functional areas in the preparation of their plans and budgeting

Support the reporting of monthly management information to the various Heads of departments and to the Board, as well as to analyze the accounting information relevant to the monitoring of the main financial KPIs

Monitor cash flow and cash collections

Proactively anticipate and communicate financial challenges or concerns

Analyze and audit employee resource allocation including hours and costs

Handle invoicing process to ensure adequate cash flow runway

Support legal, accounting and auditing functions in conjunction with various third parties

Establish productive financial relationships with external partners

What You Bring With You:

3+ years in a similar role > ideally with a startup or consulting agency

A degree in Business Management, Finance or Economics

Detail oriented, analytical, inquisitive and organized with strong time-management skills

Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint

Fluent spoken and written English and Portuguese
