RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily on-site walk-throughs to ensure contract performance, safety compliance, and quality control with the intent of delivering our commercial projects

  • Interface with Bond Collective’’s design team, architectural, property management and engineering staff to ensure that all construction related items are coordinated and have little to no impact on the day to day activities of the property

  • Ensure necessary insurances, certificates and licenses for construction are maintained in accordance with local laws and/or jurisdictional requirement

  • Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of a project or portion thereof

  • The ability to make decisions that consider both schedule and budgets and value engineer

  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors

  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion

  • Formulate and execute project schedule

  • Administer document control procedures for all construction related documents

  • Fully vet all contractors and vendors

  • Liaise with legal and finance team to review and execute agreements and work orders

  • Negotiate change orders as necessary

  • Manage and update project budget in accordance with all teams involved

  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 8-10 years construction management experience, preferably in commercial construction

  • Degree in one of the following disciplines is preferred: Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering + Management, Architecture, other related fields or experience

  • Knowledge of architectural, structural, and/or MEP systems

  • Construction/field experience and project management skills

  • A mature professional with excellent judgment and intuitive interpersonal skills

  • Strong time management skills, results-driven, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Exceptional communications skills – written and verbal

  • A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual

  • Keen attention to detail

  • High energy; possessed with drive
