[Expired] - Workshop Operator - Makerspace - 3-6month internship

As a Workshop Operator Intern, you have genuine interest to engage in and support MotionLab’s infrastructure, community and programs. You will work closely with our Tech-Team and learn prototyping using different techniques and machines. Preferably for a period of three to six months.

The internship is divided in two parts: 60% of the time you will learn how a prototyping space works and 40% of your time you work on your own project, using our infrastructure and tools. Your project can be anything: A product, an art-sculpture or just something to improve your skills. Support our Tech & Infrastructure Team with machine & lab maintenance

Take care of Members , Labs & Machines

Service & repair equipment

Prototype project’s together with our members

You ensure the unique feel-good factor of our customers and you are a brand ambassador at the same time

You are one of first contact persons for our customers technical question

Your talents

You are passionate about how things work and how to make them

You are happy to accompany customers in the implementation of ideas and wishes

You can keep calm and keep an overview even in hectic moments

Ability to perform daily maintenance and minor repairs on our digital fabrication machines.

You have good interaction skills and the ability to work independently and in a team

You have the desire to learn new skills and keep the lab friendly and welcoming

You are interested in innovative products from the fields of mobility, health and many more

You speak fluent German AND/OR English
