What does managing a coworking workspace involve?

Workspace managers coordinate the service and commercial operation of a location. Compare responsibility for the team, suppliers, building issues, budgets and occupancy. A single-site manager and an area manager may have similar titles but very different decision-making authority.

Questions to ask before accepting a role

Is this a single-site or multi-site position?
Which budgets and supplier decisions can I approve?
Who handles facilities emergencies and out-of-hours cover?
Does the role own occupancy targets, renewals or profit and loss?

What to bring to your application

Prepare examples of improving a workplace process, coordinating a supplier and balancing a member request against cost or capacity. Include the scale of the team or site you supported.
